With its compact growth habit and vibrant green, red, gold and maroon foliage, this minuscule variety of the more common Strawberry Begonia adds a touch of elegance and whimsy to any botanical display. This minature form is from Yakushima, a small island in Japan. There, it has evolved to remain a very tiny size, which intensifies the brilliant colors and silver veining.
