Serpent Peperomia is a rare, but easy to maintain species that is at home in terrariums where it loves to grow on branches and logs. Its name comes from the heart shaped leaves that resemble the head of a snake combined with its vining growth pattern. Take care to keep it from bright and direct light, as it prefers dappled light as found in the under-story of rain forests where it grows naturally. Otherwise, the leaves get very washed out and then turn yellow.
